Feeding Instructions: This mineral feed only contains a minimal amount of molasses, which means it will only be eaten when the horse has an actual need for it.
The maximum amount of this supplementary feed is 100g per horse per day, as it has a higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to a complete feed.
Feeding Recommendation:The lick can be placed inside or outside at the horses’ free disposal. Please watch out for excessive use during the first few days and if that happens, reduce the time the lick is available and keep under supervision. Once the mineral metabolism of the horse has been balanced, the lick can be left out permanently.
Other users have also placed the lick inside an old tyre to give it some protection. It may be possible to get an old tyre free of charge from a car repair or tyre shop.
