Come and listen to Mark Bailey (DEP, MEPA) discuss the signs and symptoms of navicular syndrome, what happens to the foot internally, and how a barefoot approach can help in this situation. Tom Beech (The Osteopathic Vet) will explain how hoof, tendon and ligament issues can lead to/arise from postural changes in the body and their knock on effects.
In the New Forest, there are regular clinics with a team of professionals, including Tom Beech (the Osteopathic Vet), Fiona Pim (Dental Occlusion Specialist), Mark Bailey (Equine Podiatrist), Lorraine Dearnley (Nutrition, Equine Therapist and Alignment/Rehab). These clinics look at addressing the whole horse for better health.
There will be time for a Q and A session at the end from Mark, Tom and Lorraine.
The talk will be held at:
The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy, Bransgore, Christchurch BH23 8EE
Date: Tuesday 8th April 2025
Time: 6.30-8.30pm
Cost: £15 per person
Places will be limited to 30 people, but we will hold a waiting list. If this event is full, please contact us if you wish to be placed on the list.
